Seongnam City, Gyeonggi Province, conducted generative AI (Chat GPT) training on the 12th to solidify its status as a special city for the 4th industry.

The training on this day was delivered by a lecture by Professor Jaesik Choi, director of the Seongnam Research Institute of the Kim Jae-cheol AI Graduate School at KAIST.

90 minutes under the theme of ‘Changes and Utilization in the Era of Generative AI (ChatGPT) Development’ ▲Strategies for utilizing generative AI and ChatGPT and plans for utilizing citizen services ▲Methods for securing transparency for utilizing AI government services ▲Safe use of AI services Provided training on explainable artificial intelligence technology.

Online training for all employees is scheduled to be conducted until August based on the filmed lectures of the day.

An official from Seongnam City said, “We hope that this training will serve as an opportunity to increase employees’ interest in creating a special city for the 4th industrial revolution and strengthen the necessary capabilities, and we will provide quality training in the future so that new technologies such as Chat GPT can be actively used in the daily lives of citizens. “I will actively work on this,” he said.

Meanwhile, the city plans to launch a mobile civil complaint consultation chatbot service that will provide information on resident registration and passport starting in September of this year.
