INEEJI, a startup that provides artificial intelligence (AI) technology optimized for complex and specialized manufacturing industry processes such as steel, cement, and petrochemicals, is accelerating its conquest of overseas markets such as Japan and the European Union (EU).
It is expected to produce tangible results within the year, as it recently conducted a proof of concept (PoC) with four manufacturing companies including Chiyoda Steel, a leading Japanese rebar and color steel plate manufacturer, and a major Japanese cement manufacturer.
INEEJI is accelerating its entry into the Japanese market by leading the PoC of a major manufacturing company just one year after entering the conservative Japanese market.
The reason why INEEJI's solution, the 'INFINITE OPTIMAL SERIES™', is in the spotlight is because it provides AI guidance optimized for processes in each manufacturing sector such as steel, cement, oil refining, and chemicals, thereby realizing energy and raw material savings, increased production yield, and improved quality.
An official from INEEJI said, “Many companies are making large-scale investments such as collecting and monitoring manufacturing process center data through digital transformation, but in actual production sites, most of them operate the process by relying on the know-how of the operator,” and added, “We are optimizing the process with multivariable data-based prediction technology and our own explainable AI technology, so the satisfaction of the process efficiency felt in the manufacturing site is high.”
INEEJI’s advantage over other companies is that it provides world-class explainable artificial intelligence (XAI) technology.
XAI suggests the main variables of the results predicted by AI. It provides guidance on how to optimally control these variables to derive the optimal target value within the process. Thanks to this, process operators can derive the optimal results they want by operating according to the guidance regardless of their technical proficiency. The reliability of AI prediction results is also improved.
INEEJI is also preparing to enter the EU steel industry by recently signing a partnership with Germany’s PSI Metal.
