Chairman Koo then ordered, “In order to achieve ‘Vision 2030,’ all executives and employees must actively attempt work innovation using AI.”

The 'LS Future Day', now in its third year, is an event that expanded the 'LS T-Fair', which was held since 2004, from existing business areas to future business areas in order to accelerate the 'ambidextrous management' that the former chairman has been pursuing since taking office.

About 200 executives and employees, including former Chairman Koo, CEOs, COOs, and CTOs of each affiliate, attended the event, and had time to share ideas for new businesses and cases of the best research and development (R&D) achievements, as well as award prizes.

A total of 21 projects competed in three areas: new business, technology, and innovation, including innovation of customer experience through generative AI and construction of electric vehicle charging stations linked to energy storage systems (ESS) using ultracapacitors (UC).

Executives and employees selected as best practices will be selected as 'LS Futurists' and, together with the former chairman, will attend 'CES 2025', the world's largest home appliance and IT exhibition to be held in Las Vegas, USA early next year, and experience the latest technology trends.

At this year's LS Future Day, experts in the AI field, including Professor Jaesik Choi of the Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (KAIST), Director Kim Deok-jin of the IT Communication Research Institute, Professor Kim Deok-joong of Sookmyung Women's University, and Professor Kim Sang-gyun of Kyunghee University, were invited to look at AI application cases, and lectures were also held on topics such as 'Corporate work methods and core competencies in the AI era.'
