AI Consumer Forum, Launch Ceremony Held on the 7th… First Step in Discussing AI Trust

The inaugural ceremony of the 'AI Consumer Forum' hosted by the Korea Consumer Federation and the Korea Artificial Intelligence Law Society will be held at the Foreign Correspondents' Club on the 18th floor of the Seoul Press Center at 11:00 AM on the 7th. This forum will be an important venue to begin discussions in earnest for the development of fair and trustworthy artificial intelligence (AI).

 

The AI ​​Consumer Forum will be co-chaired by Kang Jeong-hwa, President of the Korea Consumer Federation, and Choi Kyung-jin, President of the Korea Artificial Intelligence Law Society (Professor at Gachon University), and Vice Minister Kang Do-hyun (Ministry of Science and ICT) and Acting Chairman Kim Tae-gyu (Korea Communications Commission) will deliver congratulatory remarks.



Experts from various fields will participate in this forum to share opinions on the development of AI technology and consumer protection. The main members are as follows.



From the government and public sectors, Kim Kyung-man (Director of Artificial Intelligence-Based Policy, Ministry of Science and ICT), Shin Young-gyu (Director of Broadcasting and Communications User Policy Bureau, Korea Communications Commission), and Moon Jeong-wook (Director of KISDI Center) will attend.

 

The attendees include Na Jong-yeon (Professor at Seoul National University), Byun Soon-woong (Professor at Seoul National University of Education), Byun Woong-jae (Attorney), Lim Yong (Professor at Seoul National University), Choi Nan-seol-heon (Professor at Yonsei University), Choi Se-jeong (Professor at Korea University), and Jaesik Choi(Professor at KAIST). Consumer groups include Kim Yu-hyang (Director of the Korea Consumer Agency Research Institute), Oh Byeong-il (CEO of Progressive Network Center), Lee Jeong-su (Secretary General of the Korea Council of Consumer Organizations), and Jeong Ji-yeon (Secretary General of the Korea Consumer Agency).
