'Super-large AI that opens a better future: Going beyond the flow and becoming mainstream'
Domestic and foreign AI experts gather to seek insights such as the current status of related industries and growth prospects

 

A place will be set up to examine the global status and growth prospects of the artificial intelligence (AI) industry and to seek ways to develop the domestic industrial ecosystem in a sound manner. It will cover various methods to identify and respond to the challenges facing the era of super-large AI.

Sisa Journal e will host the '10th Artificial Intelligence International Forum (AIF 2024)' at the Grand Hyatt Seoul Hotel on the 12th. World-renowned scholars and experts in the AI ​​field will be invited to discuss the direction of development of the changing AI technology.

Currently, the market interest in 'super-large AI' that learns large amounts of data hundreds of times more than existing AI and thinks and judges on its own like a human is increasing. In particular, since the introduction of 'Chat GPT', various services utilizing super-large AI are emerging.

In line with this industrial background, Sisa Journal e set the forum theme as 'Hyperscale AI opens up a better future: Beyond the flow and become mainstream.'

Sisa Journal e was the first domestic media outlet to host an AI forum in 2015, and has been reviewing AI development and ecosystem changes every year since. The AI ​​forum, now in its 10th year, is attended by leading scholars and experts in the field. 

This forum will proceed in the following order: congratulatory remarks by Ahn Cheol-soo, a member of the People Power Party; Lee In-sun, a member of the People Power Party; and Cho Seung-rae, a member of the Democratic Party of Korea; keynote speeches by domestic and international scholars; and session presentations by corporate experts.

The first keynote speaker, Professor Max Watson of the Department of Language & AI Convergence at Hankuk University of Foreign Studies, will present on the topic of ‘A Study on the Differences in the Production of Human and AI-Created Content and Classification Methods.’ Professor Emeritus Jinhyung Kim of KAIST will present on ‘Artificial Intelligence Technology for Carbon Neutrality.’ The keynote speech will conclude with Professor Jaesik Choi of the KAIST Kim Jae-chul AI Graduate School (CEO of INEEJI Co., Ltd.) presenting on ‘Technology for Safely Using Generative Artificial Intelligence.’

The session presentations will be given by Genesis Lab CEO Lee Young-bok, Korea Automobile Research Institute Autonomous Driving Research Center Director Lee Jae-gwan, POSCO Holdings Future Technology Research Institute AI Robot Convergence Research Center Research Fellow Lim Woo-sang, and Shinhan Bank AI Research Center Team Leader Park Sung-woo. They will have time to explore ways to strengthen industrial capabilities in various fields such as HR solutions, autonomous driving, robots, and finance through AI.
