On the 7th, Seongnam City, Gyeonggi Province, held the '2024 Seongnam AI · 4th Industrial Revolution Promotion Strategy Policy Forum' at the Seongnam Industrial Promotion Agency's main auditorium.

The event, held in conjunction with the Seongnam Festival, was themed 'AI Daily Life, Seongnam's Challenge to Open the Future' and was attended by approximately 120 people, including Seongnam City Council members, Seongnam City 4th Industrial Revolution Special City Advisory Committee members, business/association, university, research/public institution officials, and ordinary citizens.

At the forum, Professor Kang Dae-hee of Seoul National University’s Department of Preventive Medicine, who is also the advisory committee chairman of the Seongnam City 4th Industrial Revolution Special City Promotion Team, served as the moderator and gave a keynote speech titled “The Role and Development Strategy of the 4th Industrial Revolution Special City Promotion Team.”

This was followed by keynote speakers including ▲ Jaesik Choi, Director of KAIST Artificial Intelligence Research Center (Trends in the Development of Industrial Artificial Intelligence), ▲ Jeong Yeong-beom, Executive Director of Technology Sales at Furiosa AI (Low-power, high-performance semiconductors for sustainable AI services), and ▲ Kim Se-jung, Director of Seoul National University Bundang Hospital’s Medical Artificial Intelligence Center (Current Status and Reality of Medical Artificial Intelligence).
