Creating a platform for realizing innovative defense AI technology
Collaborating with AI startups to produce prototypes
The 3rd Army Artificial Intelligence Idea Contest, co-hosted by the Army Policy Office and the Korea Artificial Intelligence Association, was held at the KADEX (International Defense Industry Exhibition) seminar room in Gyeryongdae, South Chungcheong Province on the 4th.
This competition provided an important opportunity for member companies to contribute to national security and technological advancement by presenting innovative ideas for how the Army and AI startups can apply defense artificial intelligence technology to actual military sites.
The event was attended by approximately 200 people including various artificial intelligence experts, including Army Policy Director Kim Heung-jun, ADD Defense AI Center Director Kwak Ki-ho, KAIST Professor Jaesik Choi, and Korea Artificial Intelligence Association Executive Vice President Kim Geon-hoon, as well as military personnel and civilians.
