The Ministry of Science and ICT announced on the 24th that it had reviewed and examined the '2025 1st National Strategic Technology Confirmation Application' together with KISTEP (Korea Institute of Science and Technology Evaluation and Planning) and confirmed and notified two companies, Letinar Co., Ltd. and INEEJI Co., Ltd., as companies that possess and manage national strategic technologies.
The'National Strategic Technology Confirmation System' is a system that confirms whether a technology that a technology promotion entity △possesses and manages or △is in the process of R&D (research and development) is a 'national strategic technology' according to the 'Special Act on the Promotion of National Strategic Technologies'. Companies that are confirmed to 'possess and manage' national strategic technologies are eligible for a 'super-gap technology special' listing.
Existing technology special listings require A and BBB grades or higher from two technology evaluation agencies to be listed. In contrast, companies recognized as having super-gap technology special listings can be listed with a grade of A from one technology evaluation agency. Of course, both general technology special listings and super-gap technology special listings require a market capitalization of at least 100 billion won and investments of at least 10 billion won from venture capitalists over the past five years.
